barely there
a drawing series.
For this series I use graphite on black substrates to depict images I gather as I go about my daily life in the city. I aim to capture the sensation of dissociation, and feelings of confusion and isolated dejection I experienced after reentering the civilian world.
The resulting image is painstakingly detailed, yet difficult to see in most lighting. I work in this manner to encapsulate the proletariat struggle to be seen or heard in our modern era.
